Designing a poster with key art that reflects the core theme, tone and general plot/ characters of the 2022 film "The Menu". The layout is an integration of retro-vernacular elements and type hierarchy echoing the contemporary filming style and suspenseful storytelling in the movie. A sense of rhythm was created with the only image on the poster (featuring the main character's iconic clap*), which kickstarts the reading of text from that part of the layout.
